The Vaser Valley

If you have made the effort to travel all the way to Maramureș, then you cannot miss the wonder of Vaser Valley. It is the place of the last functioning forestry railway in Europe which even today fulfills its role of carrying lumber down the valley. The nature is wonderful (still) and nothing compares with a hike along the narrow railway deep into the wilderness, where not even the cellular network penetrates. The photos below should give you an idea of this wonderful place and if you want some background, check my previous post on this place.
